Job summary

Paychex is seeking high-energy, driven professionals for our Sales Development organization. SDRs focus on targeted prospecting to create opportunities by consulting with potential clients and leveraging Paychex products and services to meet their needs.

Responsibilities include outbound calls to generate appointments, building rapport with prospects, and partnering with sales reps to target accounts, while maintaining CRM data to nurture a strong pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS diploma required.
• 1 year of lead gen or related sales experience.
• Strong communication, rapport-building, and web conferencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Generates appointments for sales reps through daily outbound targeted calls.
• Builds rapport with prospects by nurturing conversations.
• Partners with selling representatives to target accounts and identify opportunities for Paychex.
• Articulates competitive advantages and value proposition of Paychex products/services.
• Maintain data updates in the CRM (Salesforce) to nurture the pipeline.
