Job summary

ABB is seeking a technically strong, customer-focused Technical Inside Sales Specialist to drive the customer journey from inquiry to order and delivery. You will qualify leads, provide technical guidance, support bids and proposals, and help convert customer needs into meaningful sales opportunities.

You will work across sales, proposal, operations, and customer teams to keep opportunities moving, coordinating account setup, NDAs, order booking, warranty claims, and escalations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; candidates without a degree but with commensurate experience will be considered.
• 8 years of experience required, including at least 3 years in the electrical industry.
• Familiarity with 3-phase AC Power Systems and related equipment is a plus.
• Experience with complex bid/proposal processes and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary inside sales and customer support resource, qualifying leads and guiding opportunities.
• Manage and coordinate the proposal process, review RFQs, support pricing, and ensure timely bid milestones.
• Drive customer satisfaction and project execution through proactive communication and post-sale coordination.
• Support business operations by managing NDA/warranty processes, events, and sales reporting.
