Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic Technical Sales Intern for a 12-week summer program in the United States. You will explore the intersection of engineering, sales, and building management, gaining hands-on experience with HVAC systems and controls.

You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers and customers, learn the design and application of our products, and develop communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering throughout the internship.
• Sophomore year or higher completed before the start date.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Learn design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer visits with mentors.
• Observe the steps sales engineers take from start to finish and participate hands-on.
• Build relationships with customers and act as a daily point of contact to support solution development.
