Norstella is seeking a seasoned Tech Lead to steer a team of developers in delivering high-quality software across our life sciences platform. You will guide architecture, drive best practices, and collaborate with product management and architecture groups to align with the product roadmap.

The ideal candidate has deep Java experience, strong leadership, and a passion for learning in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management experience.
• 9+ years of Java programming.
• 4+ years with Spring Boot/Spring Frameworks.
• 2+ years of cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• 4+ years with open source frameworks.
• Proficient with AI tools like Cursor and Claude.
• 2+ years of Agile practices.
• 2+ years with relational and NoSQL databases.
• 3+ years designing, developing backend microservices with RESTful APIs.
• 4+ years using Jenkins and Docker.
• Experience with Test First (TDD) software development.
• Pharma/healthcare sector knowledge is a plus.
