Job summary

Norstella, a premier life sciences data and AI solutions provider, seeks a Tech Lead to guide a team of developers in delivering high-quality software across content platforms. You will work with product management, architecture, and other software teams to shape the product roadmap.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in software engineering, Java, Spring Boot, and cloud services, with leadership experience and a willingness to continuously learn in a dynamic tech landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• 9+ years of experience in programming with Java.
• 4+ years of experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch Frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• 4+ years of experience with modern open source frameworks.
• Proficient in using AI tools like Cursor and Claude.
• 2+ years of experience with Agile practices.
• 3+ years of experience designing backend microservices with RESTful APIs and API security.
