Norstella is seeking a Tech Lead to drive software engineering efforts across a cloud-based backend stack. You will guide a team of developers, collaborate with product and architecture teams, and ensure delivery of scalable services.

Strong communication and a passion for learning new technologies are essential. Ideal candidates have extensive Java experience, Spring Boot expertise, and hands-on work with cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or engineering or related field.
• 9+ years of Java development experience.
• 4+ years with Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• 2+ years with AWS/GCP/Azure or another cloud service.

• Build and lead a strong engineering team and culture.
• Work on projects with significant complexity.
• Cultivate the culture of AI within the organization.
• Own the solutions your team delivers.
• Learn new technologies and programming languages as needed.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.

• Review technologies and recommend changes.
• Develop, test, and maintain backend microservices with REST APIs.
• Collaborate with designers and PMs to translate requirements.
