Job summary

CLA, CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, is seeking a Controller with Technology Industry experience for our CAAS practice in Illinois. You will help clients transform their business by mitigating risk, meeting deadlines, and guiding workforce needs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 7 years of Controller experience, and strong knowledge of GAAP. Travel to local client sites is frequent, with in-office work predominating.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred but not required.
• 7 years experience as Controller or equivalent.
• Public accounting experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in Technology industry highly preferred.
• Aptitude for accounting software and systems

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of GAAP (FASB/SFAS).
• Develop internal control policies and procedures.
• Coordinate budgeting, procurements, or investment activities.
• Prepare financial information and statements.
• Monitor KPIs and financial staff performance.
• Advise management on financial objectives and actions.
• Communicate with boards, bankers, investors, etc.
