Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is seeking a Controller with technology industry experience to join our Client Accounting & Advisory Services team. You will lead financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

You will collaborate with management and clients to drive financial performance, manage risk, and deliver strategic insights. This role requires 7+ years of relevant experience and proficiency with major accounting software; travel locally is

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred but not required.
7 years experience as a Controller or equivalent.
Technology industry experience preferred; public accounting experience a plus.
Proficiency with accounting software: QuickBooks, NetSuite, Intacct.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Travel: frequent local travel to client sites; possible overnight travel.

Responsibilities

Develop internal control policies and procedures for budgeting, cash and credit management.
Coordinate and direct budgeting and investment activities for the organization or portions of it.
Prepare financial information and statements for regulatory reporting.
Monitor KPIs and advise management on financial objectives and actions.
Communicate with boards, bankers, investors, and other stakeholders.
