Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is seeking a Controller with Technology Industry experience to support the CAAS practice. The role emphasizes GAAP expertise, internal controls, budgeting, and financial leadership for client organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred but not required.
• 7 years of Controller-level experience required.
• Accounting back-office experience required.
• Technology industry experience highly preferred; public accounting experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of GAAP (FASB/SFAS) and deep understanding of tech industry financials.
• Develop internal control policies for budget administration, cash/credit management, and accounting.
• Coordinate and direct financial planning, budgeting, procurements, or investments.
• Prepare financial information and statements, and regulatory reports.
• Evaluate needs for funds and investment of surpluses; make recommendations.
• Monitor KPIs and performance of accounting staff; implement actions.
• Advise management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
• Regularly communicate with boards, bankers, investors, and stakeholders.
