Job summary

Victoria College’s Technology Services Department is seeking two part-time Student Workers for Fall 2026 to support the Help Desk team. You will handle customer inquiries, assist with phones and equipment logistics, and aid in troubleshooting for campus computing.

The role requires enrolling in 6+ credits in Fall/Spring (3 in summer), maintaining a 2.0 GPA, and presenting a professional image with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in minimum 6 credit hours Fall and Spring; 3 credit hours in summer.
• Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA, including developmental courses.
• Strong communication and excellent telephone/interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty and staff.
• Assist with office duties: answer phones, transfer calls, deliver equipment, stock printers.
• Assist in troubleshooting tech issues via phone or walk-ins.
• Track equipment check-in/out and report usage information.
• Other duties as assigned.
