Job summary

Victoria College is hiring two part-time Student Workers for the Fall 2026 semester to support the Help Desk Coordinator and Help Desk Support Specialist, providing academic and administrative computing assistance.

Duties include customer service to students, faculty and staff, answering phones, assisting with equipment pickup/delivery, troubleshooting by phone or walk-ins, tracking inventory, and other duties.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student with minimum 6 credit hours in Fall and Spring, 3 in Summer.
• Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA, including developmental courses.
• Strong communication and telephone/interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to safeguard confidential information and project a professional image.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to Victoria College students, faculty and staff.
• Assist with office duties: answering phones, transferring calls, and delivering equipment.
• Help desk support: troubleshooting via phone or walk-ins.
• Track department technology equipment (laptops, hotspots) and report usage information.
• Other duties as assigned.
