Job summary

Momence CUSD 1 is seeking a Technology Tier 1 Specialist in Momence, IL. The role supports the Technology Director, provides first-level user support, and helps manage devices and systems across the district.

Responsibilities include inventory maintenance, vendor coordination, account administration, reporting, and assisting with ERATE filings. This is a full-time on-site position requiring strong communication and organizational skills.

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level end user support on selected systems and log requests.
• Assist Technology Director with scheduling of meetings and department activities.
• Maintain and audit the technology inventory and fleet of devices.
• Communicate with vendors and third parties to coordinate repairs, quotes and orders.
• Generate purchase orders and assist with processing invoices and receipts.
• Assist with ERATE funding filing process and record keeping.
• Administer end user accounts across systems (Google Apps for Education/Gmail, MS Active Directory, Uniflow, TeacherEase SIS, Proximity card access, email groups).
• Perform routine reporting on system utilization and share with district admins.
• Maintain district message boards and update content for staff.
• Answer Help Desk calls and escalate when needed.
• Monitor help desk tickets, assign/dispatch technicians as necessary.
• Create system documentation and end-user communications.
• Supervise technology interns or student assistants when director is away.
