Role Summary

We are seeking a Technology Consultant -- QA Support Engineer (Payment Systems) with experience in payment terminal solutions, quality assurance, and technical support. The ideal candidate should possess hands‑on expertise in payment terminals, terminal management systems, and payment application testing. This role involves supporting testing, troubleshooting production issues, validating payment applications, and collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure the reliability and performance of payment solutions.

Day to Day Job Duties

• Perform QA testing and provide technical support for payment terminal solutions.
• Troubleshoot application and terminal issues by analyzing trace logs and system behavior.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in QA, application support, or technical support for payment systems.
• 2+ years of experience with payment terminals, preferably Ingenico or Castles Technology devices.
• 2+ years of experience in payment processing systems, Terminal Management Systems (TMS), and terminal provisioning.
• 2+ years of experience in trace log analysis, troubleshooting, and payment application testing.

Nice to Have

• Experience with EMV payment solutions and payment certification processes.
• Knowledge of POS terminal software deployment and remote terminal management.
• Familiarity with Linux or embedded operating systems.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect management tools such as Jira.
• Understanding PCI-DSS, payment security standards, and payment industry best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $95,918-$222,031. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position in the USA. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
