Job summary

Withum is seeking an experienced Tech Audit Supervisor to join our Auditing and Attest Engagement team in New York City. You will lead engagement planning, staffing and execution to deliver high-quality audits, reviews or compilations with strong client service.

The role requires at least 3 years in public accounting, leadership experience, and solid knowledge of US GAAP. Travel to client sites is expected as needed. Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Experience auditing healthcare systems and hospitals is preferred but not required.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team in planning and execution of audits, reviews or compilations to deliver world-class client service.
• Oversee day-to-day audit engagement operations from staffing to financial reporting and wrap-up.
• Provide supervision and support to staff and promote open communication with the engagement partner.
• Collaborate with seniors, supervisors and partners on client issue resolution and regulatory considerations.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently to meet client deadlines and budgets.
• Deliver training and contribute to professional development for team members.
