Job summary

Withum in Los Angeles or San Francisco seeks a Tech Audit Supervisor to lead audit engagements from planning to completion, mentoring staff and maintaining strong client relationships. You will oversee day-to-day operations, collaborate with seniors and partners, and manage budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA license required.
• At least 3 years of public accounting experience with leadership of multiple engagements.
• Experience auditing healthcare systems and hospitals preferred but not required.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed based on client assignments.

Responsibilities

• Leading the engagement team staff on planning and execution of an audit, review or compilation engagement to provide world-class client service.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting and conclusion.
• Providing supervision and support to engagement staff, seniors and supervisors and promoting open communication with the engagement partner.
• Collaborating with team members and partners on client issue resolution and advising on legal, regulatory and accounting issues during an audit.
• Managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines.
• Creating and tracking engagement budgets and providing feedback to team members.
