Job summary

WithumSmith+Brown, PC is seeking a Tech Audit Manager in New York City to lead audit engagements for a diverse client base and drive assurance quality. You’ll mentor staff and collaborate with partners to resolve complex issues while advancing the firm’s growth and reputation.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting, a CPA license, and at least five years of public accounting experience, with demonstrated leadership across multiple engagements and SEC client work in US GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA license preferred.
• Public accounting experience with SEC clients valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead or supervise engagement staff on planning and execution of audits, reviews or compilations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing to financial reporting.
• Provide supervision and guidance to staff and promote open communication with engagement partner.
• Collaborate with seniors, supervisors and partners on issue resolution and regulatory considerations.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently and meet client deadlines.
• Create and monitor engagement budgets and identify inefficiencies.
• Mentor team members and participate in professional development discussions.
