Job summary

Withum is seeking a Tech Audit Supervisor to be based out of East Brunswick, NJ or New York City, NY. You will lead audit engagements from planning to completion, mentoring staff and building strong client relationships.

You’ll oversee staffing, risk assessment, fieldwork and financial reporting while collaborating with partners on accounting issues. Travel may be required; CPA and healthcare audit experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license required.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience; experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team staff on planning and execution of audit, review or compilation engagements to provide client service.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and financial reporting.
• Provide supervision and support to engagement staff and promote communication to the engagement partner.
• Collaborate with seniors or supervisors and partners on client issue resolution and advise on regulatory and accounting issues.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently to meet client deadlines.
• Create and track engagement budgets and discuss evaluations with team members.
