Job summary

Withum is seeking a Tech Audit Senior to join our hybrid team in New York City, NY or East Brunswick, NJ. You will lead audit engagements from planning to completion, supervising staff and maintaining strong client relationships while collaborating with partners to resolve accounting issues.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting, a CPA or CPA path, and at least 2 years in public accounting with US GAAP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting is required and CPA is preferred.
• Licensed CPA or working towards CPA certification.
• Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience leading engagements.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and high client service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams from planning through completion for audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Oversee day-to-day engagement operations including staffing, risk assessment, and fieldwork.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to staff and communicate with managers and partners.
• Collaborate on client issue resolutions and advise on accounting matters.
• Review general ledger accounts and manage multiple engagements to meet deadlines.
• Monitor engagement budgets and contribute to professional development discussions.
