Job summary

Withum is seeking a Tech Audit Senior to join our audit practice in the United States, based at East Brunswick, NJ or New York City, NY offices. You will lead engagement teams through planning and execution to deliver high-quality audit services and client value.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating planning, risk assessment, and financial reporting, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with US GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Licensed CPA, or working towards CPA certification.
• At least 2 years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Leading the engagement team staff on the planning and execution of an audit, review or compilation engagement.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations of the audit engagement including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork and reporting.
• Providing supervision and support to the engagement staff and facilitating communication with management.
• Collaborating on client issue resolutions and advising on regulatory and accounting issues.
• Reviewing general ledger accounts for accurate entries.
• Managing multiple engagements concurrently to meet client deadlines.
• Creating and tracking engagement budgets and improving efficiency.
• Mentoring staff and contributing to professional development programs.
