Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to manage the product, process, and people required to execute a shift at Zaxbys. You will supervise team members, set shift goals, and respond to guest concerns while ensuring standards are met.

As a leader in the restaurant, you will train and coach staff, delegate tasks, and uphold safety and quality throughout the shift, aiming to deliver a great guest experience and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part‑time: 9 to 28 hours per week; Full‑time: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach team members to meet company standards.
• Delegate tasks to team members and supervise performance during a shift.
• Prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve complaints politely.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are upheld.
• Receive and reconcile deliveries and complete daily inventory counts.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening/closing tasks are completed.
