Job summary

Zaxbys is expanding and inviting motivated individuals to join our team as Shift Leader. You will supervise operations, manage the product, process and people, assign tasks, respond to guest concerns, and help achieve shift goals.

You’ll train and coach teammates daily while maintaining standards and safety. You’ll help ensure service quality, inventory accuracy, and proper cash handling while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time: Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week; Full-time: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to make sound judgements and decisions which align with company standards and values.
• Servant leader mindset.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product, process, and people required to execute a shift and resolve guest concerns.
• Train and coach team members to meet company standards and shift goals.
• Delegate tasks, supervise performance, and communicate shift goals to the team.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure service quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction throughout the shift.
• Receive and reconcile deliveries, maintain inventory levels, and monitor food production and safety.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening and closing tasks are completed.
• Escalate issues to supervisors and management as needed.
