Zax LLC is seeking a Shift Leader for our Zaxbys restaurant. The role oversees shift execution, trains and coaches team members, handles guest concerns, and ensures standards for service, food safety, and cleanliness are met.

You will support opening and closing tasks, manage equipment issues, and drive performance to achieve daily goals. The position emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and adaptability, with opportunities to develop skills and advance within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Part‑time: 9 to 28 hours per week; Full‑time: 32 to 40 hours per week
• Successful completion of background check
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Technological savvy with required company software and tools
• Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively
• Conflict resolution skills
• Servant leader mindset
• Leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage shift tasks, delegate duties, and supervise performance
• Coach and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to management
• Prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve issues in a friendly, professional manner
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with company guidelines
• Ensure service quality and accuracy of orders while maintaining safety and cleanliness
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening/closing tasks are completed
• Collaborate with management to set goals and report progress to leadership
• Escalate human resources and risk management concerns to supervisors when needed
