Dash In in Newark, DE is hiring part-time Team Members to join its Back of House (BOH) crew. The role involves food preparation, safe handling, and delivering an excellent guest experience in a 24/7 retail setting.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, 1 year of food service, strong customer service, and flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends. Certification like ServSafe and POS familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED (or be able to complete company-paid GED program).
• 1 year of food service experience, line cook or prep cook experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality codes while crafting meals.
• Monitor prep levels, ensuring everything is ready to serve.
• Keep prep station clean, restock, organize, and maintain tidiness.
• Receive goods and store them properly, preparing for cooking.
• Maintain a clean kitchen and uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Connect with guests, delivering a personalized experience.
• Operate food service equipment like deep fryers and slicers professionally.
• Use proper lifting techniques to handle large containers (five‑gallon soft drink containers, 50 to 65 pounds).

Status: Part-time including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay Rate: $15.50 - $18.00 (+$1 for overnight)
