Dash In, part of the Wills Group family, is hiring Team Members for a chef-inspired, 24/7 retail concept in Newark, DE. The Kitchen Associate will prepare meals, ensure safety and quality, restock and organize prep areas, and deliver a personalized guest experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of food service, and flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends. Background check and drug screening are required. Training and GED option available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or ability to complete company-paid GED program.
• 1 year of food service experience, line cook or prep cook experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18+ years old.
• Background check and drug screening completion required.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, sanitation and quality standards to craft meals.
• Monitor prep levels and keep stations ready for service.
• Restock, organize and keep prep areas tidy for a smooth operation.
• Ensure goods are stored and placed properly for cooking.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and appearance.
• Interact with guests to deliver a personalized experience.
• Operate food service equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with handling large containers and lifting as needed (50–65 lbs).

Status: Part-time including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay Rate: $15.50 - $18.00 (+$1 for overnight)

We're assembling an epic Back of House (BOH) team to whip up delectable dishes and deliver an extraordinary food service experience to our hungry guests.

• Lifting Superstar: Sometimes, you'll need to flex those muscles and use proper lifting techniques to handle large containers like a boss. We're talking five-gallon soft drink containers, weighing in at 50 to 65 pounds.

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED (or the ability to complete our company-paid GED program)
• 1 year offood service experience, line cook or prep cook experience
• Customer service experience
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have:

• ActiveServSafecertification, or a similar qualification
• Tech-savviness, including familiarity with POS software
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
