Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Needham is looking for confident, dependable Swim Instructors who will teach children from 4 months to 12 years using a play-based curriculum. You will foster a fun, positive experience for families while delivering life-saving water safety skills.

The role is part-time, offering paid training and opportunities for advancement. Lifeguard certification is required during employment, with courses provided if not yet certified.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• Swim instruction, lifeguard, structured childcare, or teaching experience preferred (1-3 years).
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if not yet certified).

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to children ages 4 months -12 years old using Goldfish's proven, play based curriculum.

Join the Goldfish Swim School - Needham Crew! Job Type: Part-Time Pay: $17 - $19 per hour Hours Required: Minimum of 2 shifts/week (shift length ranging from 3-6 hrs/day)

What You'll Do

• Teach swim lessons to children ages 4 months -12 years old using Goldfish's proven, play based curriculum
• Create a safe and positive learning environment
• Communicate clearly with families about swimmer's progress
• Maintain pool safety
• Be a supportive, professional teammate on and off the pool deck

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Swim instruction, lifeguard, structured childcare, or teaching experience preferred (1-3 years)
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if not yet certified)
