Job summary

A local swim school in Needham is seeking confident and dependable Swim Instructors to teach children essential water safety skills. In this part-time role, you'll lead engaging lessons for kids aged 4 months to 12 years in a fun and safe environment. Ideal candidates should be at least 16 years old, possess strong communication skills, and have preferred experience in swim instruction or childcare. Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Swim instruction, lifeguard, structured childcare, or teaching experience preferred (1-3 years).
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred.

Pay: $17 - $19 per hour
Hours Required: Minimum of 2 shifts/week (shift length ranging from 3-6 hrs/day)

• Teach swim lessons to children ages 4 months -12 years old using Goldfish's proven, play based curriculum
• Create a safe and positive learning environment
• Communicate clearly with families about swimmer's progress
• Maintain pool safety
• Be a supportive, professional teammate on and off the pool deck

Requirements/Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Swim instruction, lifeguard, structured childcare, or teaching experience preferred (1-3 years)
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if not yet certified)
