Job summary

Goldfish Swim School in Needham, MA is seeking confident, dependable Swim Instructors to teach children water safety using our play-based curriculum. This part-time role focuses on delivering safe, engaging lessons and communicating progress to families.

Requirements include being at least 16, strong communication, reliability, and preferably swim instruction or lifeguard experience. Training and Lifeguard certification are provided while employed, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong communication skills and reliability are essential.
• Swim instruction, lifeguard, structured childcare, or teaching experience preferred (1-3 years).
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if not yet certified).

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to children 4 months to 12 years old using Goldfish's proven, play based curriculum.
• Create a safe and positive learning environment.
• Communicate clearly with families about swimmer's progress.
• Maintain pool safety.
• Be a supportive, professional teammate on and off the pool deck.

Join the Goldfish Swim School - Needham Crew! Job Type: Part-Time Pay: $17 - $19 per hour Hours Required: Minimum of 2 shifts/week (shift length ranging from 3-6 hrs/day)
