Job summary

Subway is seeking a Team Leader/Team Member to provide an excellent guest experience, ensure food is prepared and served to high standards, and keep the restaurant clean, safe, and inviting. You will help maintain operations and security while supporting the brand.

You’ll lead a staff of 4–12, assign and evaluate work, assist in planning events and promotions, coordinate training to make events successful, and help with product ordering and inventory as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a restaurant operation; supervisory experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

In addition to the role of a Team Leader, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Leading a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
