Job summary

Subway Team Member Trainee is needed to focus on delivering great guest experiences, maintaining clean and safe restaurant operations, and assisting with food preparation and service.

The role includes supervising a team, assisting with event planning and promotions, ordering and inventory support, and participating in staff training to ensure standards are met across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be an excellent communicator across all levels of team members.
• Computer knowledge and basic POS familiarity are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest experience and ensure quality food preparation and serving.
• Supervise a staff of 4-12, assign and evaluate work.
• Assist in planning events and promotions and coordinate required training.
• Assist with product ordering and inventory as needed.

Job description

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Trainee will focus on seven main things:

In addition to this role, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
