Job summary

The Escape Game is seeking a Team Leader to deliver world-class hospitality at our Ala Moana Center location in Honolulu. You will lead a 4-15 member team, ensure games start on time, and maintain our high standards of service.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years in guest-facing roles and a strong ability to motivate and coach others in a fast-paced setting. This role often requires nights, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on guest joy and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership ability with 1-2 years of experience in guest-facing settings preferred.
• Ability to manage a team of 4-15 people.
• Strong guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with fast-paced, changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate with a team of 4-15.
• Create a fun, positive atmosphere for guests and teammates.
• Ensure shift operational excellence: open/close store, start games on time, manage breaks.
• Uphold standards using coaching methods and address issues promptly.
• Handle cash/inventory and address minor maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated leadership ability with 1-2 years of experience in a guest-facing setting preferred.
• Flexible availability. This role often works nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to handle physical activity as it relates to the job, such as deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30-40 lbs, and minor game repairs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (about 75-80% of your shift).
• Align with TEG’s Uniform Standards.
