Job summary

The Escape Game in Grapevine, Texas is seeking a Team Leader to guide a small team and ensure a five-star guest experience. You will open and close the store, coordinate shifts, and keep daily operations running smoothly in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of guest-facing leadership, are flexible for nights and weekends, can handle physical tasks, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, all while upholding The Escape Game standards

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leadership experience in a guest-facing setting preferred.
• Flexible availability; nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks (deep cleaning, painting, standing, bending, lifting 30–40 lbs, minor repairs).
• Ability to stand for long periods (75–80% of shift).
• Align with uniform standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate with a team of 4–15.
• Create a fun, positive atmosphere for guests and staff.
• Open and close the store; ensure games start on time.
• Facilitate breaks and coach staff using Continuous, Gracious Pressure.
• Address minor maintenance issues and manage cash/inventory.
• Ensure every guest leaves with a five-star experience.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated leadership ability with 1-2 years of experience in a guest-facing setting preferred.
• Flexible availability. This role often works nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to handle physical activity as it relates to the job, such as deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30-40 lbs, and minor game repairs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (about 75-80% of your shift).
