Job summary

The Escape Game is seeking a Team Leader to drive exceptional guest experiences in Houston. You will lead a team of 4–15, open/close the store, and keep games running smoothly while upholding our hospitality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in guest-facing leadership, can work nights/weekends/holidays, and handle physical tasks and minor repairs, while maintaining TEG uniform guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leadership experience in guest-facing settings.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as cleaning, painting, standing, and lifting 30–40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods during shifts.
• Adherence to uniform standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate with a team of 4–15 during shifts.
• Open and close the store and ensure games start on time.
• Create a fun, five-star guest experience and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain store standards and assist with minor repairs and upkeep.
• Manage cash and inventory during shifts.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated leadership ability with 1-2 years of experience in a guest-facing setting preferred.
• Flexible availability. This role often works nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to handle physical activity as it relates to the job, such as deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30-40 lbs, and minor game repairs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (about 75-80% of your shift).
• Align with TEG’s Uniform Standards.
