Job summary

The Escape Game is seeking a Team Leader in Alexandria to supervise a 4–15 member team, uphold hospitality standards, and ensure every guest has a five‑star experience. This role requires flexible availability, physical stamina, and a hands‑on leadership approach in a fast‑paced environment.

As a Team Leader, you will open/close the store, start games on time, manage breaks, and coach teammates to maintain exceptional guest service while handling daily operations and minor repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership ability with 1–2 years of guest-facing experience preferred.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks (cleaning, painting, lifting 30–40 lbs).
• Adherence to uniform standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate with a team of 4–15 team members on shift.
• Open and close the store and ensure games start on time.
• Manage guest flow to deliver a five‑star experience.
• Monitor and address maintenance needs and inventory/cash handling.
• Coach teammates using TEG’s leadership framework and maintain a positive atmosphere.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated leadership ability with 1-2 years of experience in a guest-facing setting preferred.
• Flexible availability. This role often works nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to handle physical activity as it relates to the job, such as deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30-40 lbs, and minor game repairs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (about 75-80% of your shift).
• Align with TEG’s Uniform Standards.
