Job summary

The Escape Game is seeking a Team Leader for our Houston location to deliver world-class hospitality and ensure guests have an unforgettable experience. You will lead a 4–15 person team, stay flexible across nights, weekends, and holidays, and help manage store operations including opening/closing, game starts, and team breaks.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of guest-facing leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership ability with 1-2 years of experience in a guest-facing setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate with a team of 4-15.
• Create a fun, positive atmosphere for guests and staff.
• Ensure operational excellence on shift: opening/closing the store, start times for games, and team breaks.
• Uphold standards by coaching and redirecting team members as needed.
• Assist with minor maintenance, cash handling, and inventory management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated leadership ability with 1-2 years of experience in a guest-facing setting preferred.
• Flexible availability. This role often works nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to handle physical activity as it relates to the job, such as deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30-40 lbs, and minor game repairs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (about 75-80% of your shift).
• Align with TEG’s Uniform Standards.
