Job summary

Extend Your Team is seeking an experienced Mortgage Operations Lead to review and file security documents and support account creation. You will manage SLAs, coach a team, and ensure consistent, compliant documentation across mortgage workflows.

You will collaborate with Legal and Compliance, coordinate with title companies and external parties, and drive process improvements while maintaining accuracy and timely reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience handling US Loan or Mortgage tasks, with 2+ years in a lead role
• Deep hands-on expertise in Liens, Deed of Trust, Vesting, and HELOC Refi processing
• Experience coaching or managing a team in document processing, mortgage, title, or loan operations
• Comfort owning SLAs, quality metrics, and escalation paths for a team
• Strong stakeholder management with Legal, Compliance, and external parties
• Excellent written English and clear communication
• Experience using customer communication and task management tools, Google Drive and Email
• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience in financial services
• Exposure to Automation or building AI bots is a plus
• Ability to work US Pacific time 9 AM–7 PM

Responsibilities

• Reviewing security documents for completeness and recording requirements
• Filing security documents with appropriate governmental entities
• Verifying client-provided documents during account creation
• Assisting in the preparation and filing of account closing documents
• Assisting other departments with document requests and record-keeping
