Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production execution by allocating work, monitoring throughput, and preventing backlogs and SLA breaches.
  • Perform end-of-day controls to confirm requests are assigned, actioned, and completed within timelines.
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and control gaps; escalate with proposed actions and impacts.
  • Drive process governance and continuous improvement based on production trends.
  • Keep team documentation up-to-date and communicate updates accurately.
  • Oversee loan closing and collateral readiness, tracking documentation to completion.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and third parties to ensure documentation is received, tracked, and imaged per policy.
  • Resolve documentation exceptions needed to satisfy collateral requirements for closed loans.
  • Oversee quality control across regulatory and compliance-related requests (e.g., flood/appraisal).
  • Maintain stakeholder management and status reporting to support deadlines and execution quality.

Job summary

As a Manager, Real Estate Documentation and Closing within Real Estate – Documentation and Closing, you will lead a high-performing operational team supporting commercial real estate loan documentation and closing activities, with accountability for quality, throughput, and risk management. You will oversee daily production, manage work intake and prioritization, and ensure accurate, timely delivery aligned to service level and control expectations. You will identify risks and bottlenecks early, elevate with clear options, and drive improvements that strengthen controls and reduce rework. You will help build a strong team culture focused on ownership, precision, and continuous learning.

Job responsibilities
  • Lead daily production execution by allocating work, monitoring throughput, and preventing backlogs and service level breaches
  • Perform end-of-day controls to confirm requests are assigned, actioned, and completed within required timelines
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and control gaps; escalated proactively with proposed actions and expected impacts

  • Experience partnering with external vendors, law firms, and third parties
  • Prior experience leading or supporting quality control activities within an operations function
  • Experience driving process improvements using production trends, root cause analysis, and control feedback
