Job summary

Goodwill of the Southern Alleghenies is seeking a Team Lead to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with daily store operations, aiming to meet budget and uphold company standards. You will open/close the store, handle daily bank deposits, ensure the register has adequate change, and address customer and donor needs and concerns while supervising store staff under the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in customer service industry with supervisory exposure.
• Background checks must be obtainable (Act 151, Pennsylvania Criminal History, FBI fingerprints).
• Supervision: Team Lead under Store Manager; may supervise store employees.

Job Purpose

To assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with the day-to-day store operations and store performance in meeting or exceeding budget while operating in compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures. Responsible for opening/closing the store, daily bank deposits, keeping register stocked with the adequate change, addressing customer/donor needs/complaints.

Job Purpose

To assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with the day-to-day store operations and store performance in meeting or exceeding budget while operating in compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures. Responsible for opening/closing the store, daily bank deposits, keeping register stocked with the adequate change, addressing customer/donor needs/complaints.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience: Experience working in the Customer Service Industry and one year of supervisor experience or 6 months as a Goodwill Team Lead Trainee.
• Clearances: Must be able to obtain acceptable results for required background checks, including Act 151 Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania Criminal History Check and Department of Human Services- FBI Fingerprints.
• Supervision Received: The Team Lead functions under the direct supervision of the Store Manager.
• Supervision Exercised: The Team Lead Supervisor will supervise store employees.
