Job summary

The Goodwill of the Southern Alleghenies is seeking a Team Lead to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in day-to-day store operations and performance.

You will help open/close the store, handle daily bank deposits, maintain proper change in the register, address customer and donor needs and concerns, and supervise other store staff under supervision of the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 1 year supervisory experience or 6 months as a Goodwill Team Lead Trainee.

• Keep register stocked with adequate change.

Job description

Job Purpose

To assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with the day-to-day store operations and store performance in meeting or exceeding budget while operating in compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures. Responsible for opening/closing the store, daily bank deposits, keeping register stocked with the adequate change, addressing customer/donor needs/complaints.

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience: Experience working in the Customer Service Industry and one year of supervisor experience or 6 months as a Goodwill Team Lead Trainee.

Clearances: Must be able to obtain acceptable results for required background checks, including Act 151 Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania Criminal History Check and Department of Human Services- FBI Fingerprints.

Supervision Received: The Team Lead functions under the direct supervision of the Store Manager.

Supervision Exercised: The Team Lead Supervisor will supervise store employees.
