Essential Functions:

• Assist in managing the classroom, ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies, and standards.
• Create a welcoming environment for children, parents, and visitors.
• Maintain attractive displays and an informative Parent Board.
• Help in creating and implementing age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans.
• Manage effective classroom transitions.
• Supervise children during activities, using positive discipline techniques.
• Ensure the classroom environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Complete all required classroom paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff.
• Identify opportunities or problems and work with the team to resolve them.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: Experience in the child care industry preferred.
