RFK Community Alliance is a therapeutic day school that provides educational and clinical services to students with diverse social emotional, behavioral, mental health, and learning disabilities. Our educational and related services support students to reach milestones such as graduation, the transition to post-secondary educational or vocational opportunities, or a return to their local school district. Who We Seek?

As a Teacher Aide, you will work as a professional partner with the classroom teacher by assisting in implementing and evaluating daily lesson plans. A teacher's aide provides instruction and guidance to students, helping them meet their academic, social, and emotional development established in their Individualized Education Program. This position opens the door for professional development by providing excellent training in the fields of special education with future opportunities for people interested and working towards becoming a special education teacher.


Who You Are

You are someone with an interest in developing a team atmosphere with the classroom teacher and other teacher's assistants. High School diploma is required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Must be 21 years old.


Shift

Full Time - 40 hours per week: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

$2,500 Sign-On Incentive

This position is eligible for the RFK Community Alliance Sign-On Incentive in the amount of $2,500 in your first year of employment. You will receive $500 after 3 months; $500 after 6 months; $1,500 after 12 months.
