Essential Functions:

• Assist in managing classrooms, ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Create a welcoming environment for children, parents, and visitors.
• Maintain attractive displays and an informative Parent Board.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans following curriculum guidelines.
• Manage classroom transitions effectively.
• Supervise children during activities, using positive discipline techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the classroom environment.
• Complete classroom paperwork accurately.
• Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Identify opportunities or issues and collaborate with Lead teachers and Directors to resolve them.

Education/Experience: Experience in the child care industry is preferred.
