Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Senior Manager, Digital Transformation & Innovation to drive value to the tax practice through process and technology changes, deployment, and support. The role requires a strong understanding of technology, process, and data, backed by tax experience.

The candidate will lead change initiatives, oversee deployments of firm and third-party Tax tools, develop training, and collaborate with technology teams to shape product requirements and deliver strategic improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems preferred.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or JD preferred.
• Seven or more years of tax and technology experience required.
• Two or more years of tax experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required.
• Experience with Tax software such as ONESOURCE, GoSystem, CorpTax, SurePrep, or CCH Axcess preferred.
• Experience with Azure DevOps preferred.
• CPA, JD, EA, or PMP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic change management initiatives across the organization.
• Oversee deployment and optimization of Tax technology tools.
• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions on firm-standard technologies.
• Collaborate with technology teams to define product requirements for Tax tools.
• Evaluate tax processes to identify efficiency gains and bottlenecks.
• Act as a liaison between Tax practice and technology teams.
• Manage multiple projects with varying complexity.
• Support risk management and quality assurance efforts.
