Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Senior Manager, Tax Technology & Process Transformation to lead strategy, design, and implementation of tax tech and end-to-end processes. You will partner with Tax, Operations, Compliance, Product, Finance, and Technology to modernize operations through automation, data-driven decisions, and standardized processes.

Reporting to the Director, Tax Operations, you will develop a multi-year transformation roadmap, drive adoption, and manage a high-performing team to deliver

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading tax operations, process transformation, or related initiatives.
• Strong understanding of tax operations, compliance processes, and tax tech ecosystems.
• Experience with data, analytics, and performance metrics to drive decisions.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive tax technology and process transformation strategy.
• Establish and maintain a multi-year roadmap prioritizing tech investments and automation opportunties.
• Lead end-to-end redesign of tax processes to improve efficiency, quality, scalability, and compliance.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to define future-state operating models.
• Monitor risks, dependencies, and enable adoption of changes.
• Lead organizational change efforts, including communications and training.
