Withum seeks a Tax Supervisor to lead all aspects of tax engagements from planning through completion. You will supervise staff, mentor juniors, and build client relationships while delivering accurate tax returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and individuals.

The role requires CPA certification or progress toward CPA with at least 4 years of public accounting experience, strong communication, and travel as needed. Multiple NJ offices are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA license or working toward CPA certification with parts passed is required or preferred.
• MS in Taxation is preferred but not required.
• At least 4 years of public accounting experience.
• Excellent client service and communication skills with ability to maintain relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and projects.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills; good verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Prepare complex C corp., S corp., and partnership tax returns.
• Prepare high net worth individual tax returns.
• Review mid-level complexity tax returns for C corp., S corp., partnerships, and individuals.
• Research and draft memos on complex tax matters.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and resolve tax controversies.
• Train and supervise staff accountants.
