WithumSmith+Brown seeks an experienced Tax Supervisor to lead audit engagements and mentor staff across multiple offices (Nashville, TN; New York, NY; Orlando, FL; Whippany, NJ). The role emphasizes tax return preparation, review, and advisory work for S corp, partnership, and high-net-worth individuals.

Strong leadership and client-relations skills are essential. The position offers a competitive compensation package with location-based offers and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Licensed CPA or pursuing CPA with parts passed.
• Masters of Science in Taxation is preferred but not required.
• At least 4 years of public accounting experience.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client's management.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing complex multistate S corp. and partnership income tax returns.
• Preparing high net worth individual returns.
• Reviewing mid-level multistate complexity S corp. and partnership income tax returns.
• Reviewing mid-level complexity individual returns.
• Researching and drafting memorandum involving complex tax matters.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities.
• Handling and resolve tax controversies.
• Training and supervision of staff accountants.
