WithumSmith+Brown PC is seeking a Tax Supervisor to lead all aspects of tax engagements from planning to completion. The role requires preparing complex corporate and partnership returns, as well as high net worth individuals, while supervising staff accountants and developing client relationships.

The successful candidate will have a CPA or progress toward CPA, a bachelor's in accounting, and 4+ years in public accounting, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Licensed CPA or working towards CPA certification with parts passed.
• Masters of Science in Taxation is preferred but not required.
• At least 4 years of public accounting experience.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, strong attention to detail, and proven innovative problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

• Preparing complex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns.
• Preparing high net worth individual returns.
• Reviewing mid-level complexity C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns.
• Reviewing mid-level complexity individual returns.
• Researching and drafting memorandum involving complex tax matters.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities.
• Handling and resolving tax controversies.
• Training and supervision of staff accountants.
