Job summary

BDO USA, LLP in Chicago seeks a Tax Manager, Core Tax Services to advise clients on tax implications of business goals and to lead tax compliance, research, and planning efforts. You will be the primary client contact for complex issues and help drive business development within your tax specialty.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and experience managing tax engagements, including ASC 740 and FIN 48 considerations.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of tax experience or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax implications of business objectives.
• Evaluate and select actions to lessen tax burden and cost of compliance.
• Serve as primary client contact for complex tax issues.
• Participate in marketing, networking, and business development within area of expertise.
• Provide written tax advice to clients as needed.
