Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) in Ohio is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our Eastern OH Tax practice. This in-office role is based out of Canton or Akron and offers exposure to diverse tax engagements for individuals, corporations and partnerships.

You will lead engagements, mentor staff, and collaborate with clients to deliver practical tax solutions while expanding your technical knowledge and professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license (or eligibility to sit for CPA exams and meet 150-credit requirement).
• At least 2 years' experience as an associate in public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and collaborate with the tax team on complex issues.
• Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
• Develop and train team members to support career growth.
• Expand technical and professional knowledge through client interactions, self-study, and training.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

How you'll create opportunities in this Tax Senior Associate role:

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Expand your technical and professional knowledge through greater exposure to client interactions, regular self-study, and training opportunities.

What you will need:

• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have an active CPA license (or EA for Tax positions) or are eligible to sit for the CPA exams and meet the 150-credit requirement to obtain a CPA license.
• You have at least 2 years' experience as an associate in public accounting.
