Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our Eastern OH Tax practice. This in-office role is based out of Canton or Akron locations.

You will prepare, supervise, and review diverse engagements for individuals, C corporations, S corporations, and partnerships while partnering with clients on tax advisory matters. We value collaborative, high-performing teams and invest in your development through coaching, training, and broad client exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license (or EA for Tax positions) or eligible to sit for CPA exams and meet 150-credit requirement.
• At least 2 years’ experience as an associate in public accounting.
• Ability to support and foster aspiring career goals and collaborate with a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Expand your technical and professional knowledge through greater exposure to client interactions, regular self-study, and training opportunities.

What you will need:

• You have at least 2 years’ experience as an associate in public accounting.
