Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our Heartland CLA Region, with locations including Champaign IL and other IL sites. You will prepare, supervise, and review diverse tax engagements, partnering with clients and team members to address complex issues.

You’ll focus on engagement management and develop others while expanding your tax knowledge through ongoing training and client exposure. A CPA license or eligibility is required, with minimum public accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license (or EA for Tax positions) or eligibility to sit for CPA exams and meet 150-credit requirement.
• At least 2 years’ experience as an associate in public accounting.
• Motivated to join a firm that will support and foster your aspiring career goals.
• Keen to help others and join a team of high-performing people.
• Love public accounting!

Responsibilities

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.

• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Expand your technical and professional knowledge through greater exposure to client interactions, regular self-study, and training opportunities.

What You Will Need
